GENDERF*CKER is the culmination of over four years of research and creation. The weight of the audience's gaze and the unique point of view of each spectator, initially invited to move around the room, are replaced by the inquisitive eye of the camera, giving access to more intimacy and vulnerability. The evolution of the work over time and the transformation of live recordings into this art film allowed Drevillon to better define the characters she embodies, in addition to more effectively incorporating words borrowed from other contemporary artists and activists.
